If you are as unorganised as me you will probably have as much chance of finding your marriage certificate quickly as you would your driving licence, MOT document, birth certificate and National Insurance card. Well your marriage certificate is more important than all of these. Sure, you can get another copy but it will never be quite the same as the original.

The Purple Gift Company have just launched a new range of wedding gifts and the item that caught my attention was a Marriage Certificate Keepsake Box. The box had a pewter plaque decorated with crystal stones and is lined in black velvet and a magnetic catch.

Love Hearts Pendant

Swizzels Matlow are certainly milking the Love Hearts brand.  Confetti have had the rights to the Love Heart Wedding Invitations for a number of years and we featured the Love Heart Favour Boxes back in February.   Well, the latest addition to the ever popular Love Hearts range is wedding jewellery.  There are a number of different pendants and cufflinks in the collection all of course featuring the iconic candy sweet that we all remember from our childhood.  Gone are the candy pink and white colours though because each round sweet design is made from sterling silver and feature the popular phrases ‘I Do’, ‘Just Married’, and ‘Marry Me’.

Love Hearts Best Man CufflinksBest Man  Love Hearts Groom CufflinksGroom

There are wedding cufflinks for the Groom and Best Man but I am not sure how these will go down with the gents in the bridal party because they are a little bit girly.  They do not come cheap either and despite being sterling silver I think they are a tad pricey at £99 per pair.  The pendants start at a more reasonable £34.95 and for an extra £5.95 can be engraved on the back for a personal touch.  I do not think some of the images do the pendants justice as some feature white enamel on the silver and this does not come across too well in the photographs.

CanCan Parasol
So you’ve booked a summer wedding and you’ve thought ahead.  Yes it should be brilliant sunshine so you should need a parasol, but it could just as easily be tipping it down, in which case you will need an umbrella.  This ivory CanCan Parasol from Brollies Galore is pricey at £89, but it covers all eventualities.  It has four layers of deep frilling so will protect you with a Sun Protection Factor of 50+ if we have a heatwave,  and with that any layers will certainly keep the rain at bay unless you’re unlucky enough  to have the type of weather we have just had, in which case you’ll be running for the nearest cover anyway.  They have a very cute collection of lace parasols for little bridesmaids too.
