I planned my entire wedding in 3 weeks. Not very good with stress and waiting. Brought my dress and shoes, my husbands suit,my sons suit and my daughters dress and shoes plus accessories for just over £300!

I completelty agree! Why spend all this money on a dress which your only going ot wear the once. I too am looking on ebay and I have found exactly what I want for £24.99! The money which we are saving is going toward a honeymoon we can afford, so that we don’t spend the whole run up the wedding worrying about how we are going to pay for everything.

I could not agree with you more! I’m not a cynical person but to spend thousands of pounds on something that will be used once by me just seems insane!! For me, it is not about having a fancy day, it is about marrying the love of my life and looking forward to the great furture we have together, not spending the first few years of marriage in debt!! I have found a £65 beautiful dress on ebay that is top of my list to purchase however it seems a trip to BHS may be worthwhile first!!
